« Energy: It’s time to begin a new era! »
The ADEME is organizing its 1st week of renewable energies, construction and energy management from 17 to 22 November 2008, at the CNIT La Défense. Following the conclusions reached at the Grenelle Environment Round Table, the improvement of energy efficiency in the building sector is more than ever a national priority and has incited numerous questions on the part of the general public. This is why the ADEME, together with its partners, has decided to bring together numerous symposiums and national events on the subject of renewable energies to organize the first edition of the week-long Forum of Renewable Energies, Construction and Energy Management from 17 to 22 November 2008 at the CNIT La Défense, in Paris.
Jean-Louis Borloo, senior minister and Minister for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Regional Planning, has congratulated the ADEME for organizing this week-long event which will provide better visibility of the energy problem in the building sector to professionals within this sector and renewable energy industries, regional authorities and the general public.
This event, which is part of the national campaign set up by the ADEME in favour of energy management and awareness of climate change, will also provide an opportunity to present the concrete measures set out in the text of the Grenelle Environment law. By holding this event during the French presidency of the European Union, which will place energy and environment policies among its priorities, it has a European dimension.
